The UniScan mobile app offers a practical solution for scanning school and university IDs, as well as various loyalty cards, directly through a mobile device. By utilizing the camera on an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad, the app transforms these devices into effective ID scanners capable of handling a range of barcodes. This functionality is particularly beneficial for events such as meetings, registrations, and sports activities.

With impressive scanning speeds of just 1-2 seconds per scan, UniScan facilitates efficient attendance tracking and event data collection. Users can enhance the scanning process by adding supplementary information, including student or loyalty numbers, email addresses, and comments. This feature allows for real-time statistical tracking during events and simplifies post-event analysis through easy export options to MS Excel.

Note: Devices with cameras below 5 megapixels will require an external scanner available for separate purchase. An external scanner is also recommended for events with high scanning volumes to ensure efficiency.

 <li>Infinea Tab (all models)</li>
 <li>KoamTac KDC series (various barcode readers/data collectors)</li>
</ul>

Important Note: Users of the Honeywell scanner with an iPod Touch 4 should refrain from updating the app without first upgrading their firmware to version 1.6. Detailed instructions are available on our website and YouTube channel.

The app incurs an annual fee of $19.99 for specific features; external scanners can be purchased through our online store.
